Job description

SYSTEM EXPLOITATION ENGINEER (French or Dutch + English)

Within the ITBT department, the IT Production department is responsible for managing the infrastructure and operations of the systems and applications on which information system relies. Within this department, the Operations department is responsible for the proper functioning of the applications used by the company's staff.. My clients is looking for a System Exploitation Engineer.

YOUR TASKS

  • You analyze the needs of the IT projects to determine the design of the solutions. You take into account non-functional needs (availability, performance, monitoring, DRP, etc.).
  • You coordinate and manage the implementation of application packages in the different environments.
  • You contribute to the elaboration and the global approach of testing.
  • You assist in writing the project documentation and you ensure that the documentation remains operational.
  • You contribute to the resolution of incidents that are passed on by the first line.

Profile

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Windows infrastructure management (Linux is an asset).
  • You have excellent analysis skills, you know your way around, you test the projects in practice and you bring them to a successful conclusion.
  • You also have experience in implementing and managing incidents.
  • You can work in both project and operational mode.
  • You are French or Dutch-speaking, you have an operational knowledge of the other national language and a professional knowledge of English.
