Job description
Wat ga je doen?
As a quality controller, you inspect used auto parts (such as brake pads, radiators, etc.) through visual checks.
How do you proceed?
You start by examining the part and its serial number. Based on this, you look up the corresponding checklist in the computer system.
Using this checklist, you perform a basic visual inspection (e.g. checking for oil, dents, damage, etc.). During the inspection, you record all relevant data for each item in the system.
Finished the checklist? Great! You then assess whether the part can be repaired and reused. Based on your evaluation, you sort the goods to the correct destination (scrap yard or external repair service).
This is a physically demanding job, as you work standing up and handle various items, using tools such as a stacker and lifting system.
You will start with training during daytime hours (8:00 AM – 4:26 PM).
After training, you will work in a rotating 2-shift system:
Early shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Late shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- You need to be able to work with a computer.
- You can't be affraid to perform a physical job.
- You will work with parts that can still be greasy and dusty.
Opleiding: /
Vakkennis: Experience as a quality controller is great, but it's not a must.
Talenkennis: You need to be fluent in English, both spoken as well as written.
