Loader / Overhead Crane Operator – Steel Industry (Evergem)

For our client in the steel industry, we are looking for a Loader / Overhead Crane Operator responsible for the safe loading of trucks and the correct movement of metal coils within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Load trucks using an overhead crane (operated from the ground level)

• Carefully and accurately move metal coils

• Place coils in the correct locations in the warehouse (preparing them for transport)

• Work in compliance with safety regulations

Profile:

• Limited experience is sufficient – motivation and eagerness to learn are key

• Accurate and responsible work approach

• English is required (Dutch is a plus)

• Willing to work in a 2-shift system

• Stable work history (no recent periods of unemployment)

Offer:

• Salary: €16.55/hour + 10% shift allowance

• Meal vouchers of €5.58 after 6 months

• Possibility of a permanent contract after a positive interim period
