As a Preparation Analyst you are responsible for carrying out preparatory analytical work and the maintenance of used material within the inorganic analyzes department.

Junior Analyst Preparation Metals
Job description
This is the tasks of a Junior Metal Preparation Analyst:
- You are responsible for sorting, quartering, homogenizing, sieving soil and sludge waste from various samples.
- You are responsible for labeling the samples, so that everything is communicated clearly and correctly.
- You are responsible for overseeing and managing the samples. You have an overview of which samples have already been treated and which have not.
- You supervise the unlocking of the samples for metal research.
- You use various machines to separate organic components from various samples.
- You are also responsible for the maintenance of the equipment used and the clean-up of extracts.
Profile
This is the profile of a Junior Preparation-Metals Analyst:
- You preferably have an A2 diploma in a scientific direction. Have you followed a STEM course, or did you obtain a TSO secondary education diploma within a scientific context? Then that is a great basis on which to further build your knowledge!
- You are an enthusiastic, flexible and independent person: within the team you organize your own assignments and spontaneously assist when colleagues need help.
- You are orderly, accurate and communicative.
- You speak fluent English and have a good basic knowledge of Dutch.
- You are motivated to work in a laboratory environment.
