As a Continuous Improvement specialist, you will work in the manufacturing unit Gent, part of enclosures HUB of the ELSB business on different process improvements . This includes not only operational productivity projects but also administrative process improvements and digitalization within the MU. You will be reporting to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager Gent, Belgium

Continuous Improvement Specialist
Job description
- Executing continuous improvement and strategy deployment and working with other CI leaders to standardize processes and develop best practices
- Drive manufacturing and logistics KPI improvements eg. : productivity, lead time and delivery performance improvements, quality processes, Inventory and obsolesance
- Setting up and execute L6S Roadmap
- Working in cross-functional teams to execute the strategy and escalate as necessary to remove roadblocks
Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in process improvement
- Minimum bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken, good communication skills with ability to work effectively with all layers in the organization
- Lean six sigma green belt (or superior is a plus)
- Solid project management and data analytics skills, good experience for process operational excellence, solid Change management and drive change as change agent
- Basic understanding of business dynamics, knowledge of service, process industries and/or ABB
- Ability to work independently, motivated and proactive
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality management system is a plus
