Freelance Inventory Planner
Job description
As a Freelance Inventory Planner your responsibilities are:
- Manage and optimize inventory levels across multiple European warehouses.
- Monitor stock levels, overstock, shortages and expiry risks, ensuring availability and cost efficiency.
- Act as the main point of cobntact for 3PL partners, coordinating inbound and outbound flows.
- Collaborate closely with demand planning teams to align forecasts and anticipate supply risks.
- Support the opening of new warehouses (Spain, Italy) and ensure alignment with internal processes.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, including stock reconciliation and cycle counts.
- Follow up daily operations to guarantee product availability and service levels.
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization across EMEA supply chain operations.
Profile
A successful Freelance Inventory Planner should have:
- Proven experience as Inventory Planner, Supply Planner or similar role.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex inventory flows.
- Experience working with 3PL logistics providers and warehouse operations.
- Ability to quickly adapt and build relationships with stakeholders in an international environment.
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, templates, reporting).
- Fluent in English, Italian or Spanish are a plus
