Job description
3-shift system – Wetteren
Are you a true craftsman with a passion for delivering flawless print results? For our printing department, we are looking for an experienced offset printer who can work independently and enjoys contributing to continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities- You efficiently set up and operate the 5-colour KBA Rapida 142 and ensure that all production targets are achieved.
- As a skilled professional, you strive for nothing less than perfect print quality.
- Together with your colleagues, you handle prepress tasks and manage the stock of inks, coatings and other supplies.
- You carry out preventive maintenance and maintain order and cleanliness around the printing press.
- With your technical insight, you can solve machine malfunctions independently and report major issues in time to your supervisor or the technical team.
- You actively contribute to continuous improvement of the printing process, quality and efficiency.
- You work in a 3-shift system (early/late/night).
Profile
What you bring
- A technical printing education (A2/A3) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with offset printing, preferably multi-colour work; experience with solid board or KBA machines is a plus.
- You are a team player with strong communication skills and a positive, collegial attitude.
- You have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- You speak fluent Dutch.
