Sinds 15/02/2025 werk ik 4/5de via mantelzorgverlof.
In 2024 heb ik voltijds gewerkt.
In april 2025 ben ik van werkgever verandert.
Kunnen jullie mij vertellen op hoeveel wettelijke vakantiedagen ik recht heb in 2025 (het huidig jaar)?
Ik ging er vanuit dat ik recht heb op 20 dagen die ik kan opnemen, aangezien ik vorig jaar nog een volledig jaar voltijds gewerkt heb. Dat maakt dan wel dat ik dit jaar 5 weken vakantie kan nemen ipv 4, omdat ik nu 4/5de werk.
Ik besef, als ik in 2025 een heel jaar 4/5de blijf werken, dat ik volgend jaar (2026) maar recht zal hebben op 16 wettelijke vakantiedagen.
Mijn werkgever zegt dat ik dit jaar al maar recht heb op 16 wettelijke vakantiedagen, omdat dit herleid wordt naar het aantal weken, je zou maar recht hebben op 4 weken vakantie en dus omdat ik nu 4/5de werk, tellen zij in weken en niet in dagen. Zo staat het ook op het vakantieattest dat ik heb ontvangen van mijn vorige werkgever.
Is dit correct? In mijn hoofd lijkt dit zeer vreemd, 20 dagen is toch 20 dagen, ik heb er tenslotte vorig jaar toch voor gewerkt?
Kan iemand mij hier een sluitend antwoord op geven? Heb al heel veel google geraadpleegd, maar vind geen sluitend antwoord. Graag ook de logische verklaring erbij, want je hebt maar recht op 4 weken, lijkt mij heel vreemd.
