Werken zonder tiksysteem

Mijn toekomstige werkgever vertelde me dat er in het bedrijf geen tiksysteem is en de uren niet exact worden bijgehouden? Is dat wettelijk? En moet ik hiermee opletten inzake overwerk? Is dit gebruikelijk?

Dag Solange, In België bestaat er geen algemene wettelijke verplichting voor werkgevers om een tijdsregistratiesysteem, zoals een prikklok, te implementeren. Dit betekent dat het wettelijk toegestaan is voor een bedrijf om geen specifiek systeem te hanteren voor het exact bijhouden van de gewerkte uren. Ik raad aan om navraag te doen bij de personeelsdienst, om te weten te komen hoe er omgegaan wordt met eventueel overwerk en hoe dit geregistreerd wordt, zodat je zeker ontvangt waar je recht op hebt.
