When you hear about Scrum, chances are high that you belong to either one of the following categories.
You think of that moment in rugby when players pack closely together in an attempt to gain possession of the ball.
You already came in touch with Scrum and you know that it has something to do with agile.
You worked in Scrum projects before and embraced its principles and values.
I must admit, until a couple of years ago, I was in the first category. I was a big rugby fan and could only think about that fascinating moment in a game. When I was studying, I briefly touched on the concept of Scrum and moved to the second category. It was only when I first started working as a business architect that I was keen on moving to the last category. But most training out there left me hungry. They do not explain in what circumstances Scrum is best used, nor do they motivate why certain components are there. Or even worse: they make it look like some tools and techniques are an integral part of the Scrum framework. In this training, we will tackle these issues by going back to basics and learn what Scrum is and equally important: what it is not.
Scrum demystified
Learn to overcome common misconceptions about Scrum. We learn what it really is, and what it is not.
