FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Loader / Overhead Crane Operator – Steel Industry (Evergem)
For our client in the steel industry, we are looking for a Loader / Overhead Crane Operator responsible for the safe loading of trucks and the correct movement of metal coils within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Load trucks using an overhead crane (operated from the ground level)
Carefully and accurately move metal coils
Place coils in the correct locations in the warehouse (preparing them for transport)
Work in compliance with safety regulations
PROFILE
Profile:
Limited experience is sufficient – motivation and eagerness to learn are key
Accurate and responsible work approach
English is required (Dutch is a plus)
Willing to work in a 2-shift system
Stable work history (no recent periods of unemployment)
OFFER
Offer:
Salary: €16.55/hour + 10% shift allowance
Meal vouchers of €5.58 after 6 months
Possibility of a permanent contract after a positive interim period
Employment in a stable industrial environment
