Junior Surveyor (Hydrographic Surveyor)

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and plan survey projects to ensure efficient execution.
• Install, maintain, and calibrate equipment such as GPS systems, multibeam echosounders, USBLs, motion sensors, and more.
• Perform regular calibration, verification, and monitoring of survey equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
• Collect data in the field, prepare daily reports, analyze and interpret results, and generate charts, plans, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues on ongoing operations and provide support in daily tasks.
• Plan and execute surveys while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
• Advise the team on geophysical and hydrographic matters to ensure the highest data quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all procedures are followed to create a safe working environment.
Profil
• A valid driver’s license.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive in approaching tasks.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of hydrographic surveying and industry practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with survey methods and equipment is highly beneficial.
