IT Solution Architect

As IT Solution Architect you lead the technology stream across the full lifecycle of systems and applications - from business development through delivery. You’ll define and implement robust architectures that link data, processes, and applications within complex IT landscapes at efficient cost.
Your work location: our headquarters in Brussels (near North Station),
Zoom on the job:- define the architectural vision, strategy, and technical solution design for digital initiatives
- identify opportunities to unlock business value by reusing or innovating current IT capabilities
- develop and present IT architecture solutions based on business requirements, supporting business case creation
- maintain a broad overview of the technology landscape and apply new technologies where relevant
- collaborate closely with internal business teams in BeLux and the Group’s Corporate IT
- ensure clear communication and documentation within the Architecture and IT teams
- act as fourth-line support for the IT environment and provide technical guidance to service delivery coordinators
- engage continuously with infrastructure experts (networks, systems, applications, integration, etc.)
- identify risks and define both functional and non-functional requirements
- work within Scaled Agile project methodologies
Profil
- bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- at least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or in an equivalent role within a large professional environment
- familiarity with Architecture principles, Architecture frameworks and IT Governance
- solid knowledge of IT applications, cloud, server, network, security, and identity
- experience with cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure is a plus)
- scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code experience
- skilled in managing and using API services and integration platforms
- familiarity with mission-critical technologies (SAP ECC/S4, Salesforce, ServiceNow, DevOps platforms, etc.) is a plus
- team player with a strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills
- creative, pragmatic, and results-oriented, with a customer-focused mindset
- proactive “can-do” attitude and flexibility to adapt to change
- fluent in English and Dutch or French (both is a plus)
