Handson Finance Manager

Our client is located in Mechelen.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• You oversee month-end and year-end closures, ensuring all deadlines are met and processes are executed smoothly;
• You prepare and reconcile balance sheets and manage control accounts;
• You drive reporting for management accounts, accruals, prepayments, and inter-company charges;
• You actively contribute to the preparation of budgets;
• You manage Sales and Purchase Ledgers precisely;
• You deliver monthly financial insights and reports to management and the board;
• You handle VAT reconciliation and prepare both VAT and intrastat declarations;
• You manage daily accounting operations and payment processing, collaborating with local banks;
• You oversee and prepare payroll, commissions, and expense reports;
• You ensure compliance with legal and HR payroll procedures;
• You enhance internal controls through timely audits alongside external partners;
• You foster teamwork and provide essential financial input at management meetings;
• You take on ad hoc finance assignments to support business objectives.
