Our client is a global industrial player operating in a complex transportation and logistics environment.
You will join an ongoing transformation program to support the implementation and business adoption of a Transportation Management System (TMS), replacing a senior consultant during a maternity leave period.

Description de la fonction
As a Freelance TMS Expert your responsibilities are:
- Own the TMS transformation program, including scope, roadmap and value delivery
- Lead multi-stream initiatives covering planning, execution, carrier management, freight settlement and performance analytics
- Set up and manage executive governance structures (steering committees, decision frameworks, escalations)
- Drive large-scale change management, impacting operations, logistics, finance and external partners
- Act as the key interface between business and IT/system integrators
- Align business processes and operating models with the target TMS solution
- Ensure adoption and value realization, tracking KPIs (cost, service, productivity) post go-live
- Manage senior stakeholders across regions, balancing global standardization and local needs
- Identify and mitigate program risks, resistance and operational readiness gaps
- Lead and coach PMO, change and workstream teams
Profil
A successful Freelance TMS Expert should have:
- Extensive experience in TMS implementation and transformation programs
- Background in transportation, logistics or supply chain (shipper, manufacturer, retailer or 3PL)
- Proven track record in leading complex, multi-year transformation programsStrong expertise in program governance, change management and stakeholder management
- Ability to bridge business and IT environments
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities
- Fluent in English
