For one of our clients, an international company based in Belgium, we are currently looking for a Finance Coordinator to join the Finance team as part of a maternity leave replacement, until September.
This role offers hands-on exposure to accounting and finance operations, with close collaboration with the Finance team and the CFO.
Finance Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

- Support day-to-day accounting activities (AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations)
- Assist with event closings, account reconciliations and data checks
- Support internal controls and preparation of Belgian VAT declarations
- Contribute to financial and tax documentation, including support for audits
- Assist with cash-flow monitoring and coordination with banks
- Work with the Finance Team and CFO during reporting and closing periods
- Use and maintain financial systems and tools (e.g. BOB 50, internal ERP systems)
Profil
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Initial experience in an accounting or finance role (junior to mid-level)
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and collaborate within a team
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- French and English required (written and spoken)
- Experience with accounting or financial software (e.g. BOB 50 or similar) is an asset
- Good command of Excel and MS Office
- Ability to quickly adapt to internal financial systems and tools
