Cargo Drone Pilot – save lives !

A. Company Description :
Helicus is a certified drone airline company, specializing in healthcare & maritime logistics. Founded in 2016, by manned aviation pilots, at the request of medical doctors, we set out to save lives. After 10 years, our aim remains the same !
Today, we offer two products to end-customer (= 1 & 2) and two products to drone operators (= 3 & 4) :
1. Transport by drone from place A to B: our customers load & unload our automated cargo drones
2. Automated integrated logistics: we build drone cargo ports that load/unload drones and transfer the cargo onto a (pneumatic) building transport system
3. We help operators and manufacturers to obtain and maintain their flight authorisations
4. We provide operators with software tools that allow them to fly safe and be linked to the air traffic management systems -> the Command & Control Center

B. Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Pilot located based out of Antwerp. Some short stay travel will be involved.
The Pilot will be responsible for operating drones (Unmanned Aircraft or UA), to transport medical & petrochemical supplies efficiently and safely. A good collaboration with the customers is important Responsibilities include remotely piloting drones, both at customer site and centrally. Aviation procedures need to be followed to ensure safety. The equipment needs to be well maintained.
Profil
Qualifications
- Commitment to safe (remote) operations and a love to identify and solve issues.
- Helicus procedures will be trained with a specific training program and on-the-job. Certifications in UAS operational or aviation training are beneficial.
- Interest in drone maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment handling supported by good contact with the manufacturer team.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with logistics and engineering teams.
- Afinity with drones and practical flight experience is welcome
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Engineering, or related fields are welcome.
- EASA drone licenses A1-3, A2, STS are a plus
- Languages: EN (NL & FR are a plus)
- Driving license B (C is a plus)
