Are you a skilled Captain for Tugboat looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise? Join our client’s dynamic team and navigate the waters of northern France and Belgium. Your primary mission will be to provide essential support to a dredging pontoon, ensuring smooth operations and safe passage through these regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and operate the tugboat efficiently in collaboration with dredging operations.
- Ensure the mechanical upkeep of the tugboat, supported by the client’s team of technicians.
- Maintain tidiness and order on board, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.
- Coordinate with French-speaking and Flemish-speaking teams to ensure seamless communication and operations.
Profil
Profile Description:
Our client is seeking an independent and responsible individual to take on the role of Captain for Tugboat. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong mechanical knowledge, essential for the maintenance and operation of the tugboat.
- A valid river licence and STCW certificate of competency.
- CRR holder credentials.
- A driving licence and access to a car for easy mobility.
- A B licence (river) and A licence (river + coastal) to navigate various waterways.
- Proficiency in English, French, or Dutch to effectively communicate with diverse teams.
