Associate Scientist Next Generation Sequencing
Description de la fonction
- Perform and oversee complex DNA and RNA extractions on a wide range of biological samples, including cells, tissue, liquid biopsies, and metagenome samples.
- Execute established library preparation workflows for next and third-generation sequencing (ONT) techniques.
- Coordinate the implementation and validation of new library preparation workflows to expand our analytical capabilities.
- Ensure high-quality output by performing quality control on extracted samples and sequencing libraries, including the data review of complex techniques.
- Analyze and interpret results, initiating and leading further investigations in the event of deviations or unexpected findings.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing on-the-job training and guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborate with the bioinformatics team to ensure data integrity and support the development of innovative analytical methods.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal procedures and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and GCLP.
Profil
- You hold a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical and Biological laboratory techniques, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field, and you have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- You work with high precision and can organize your tasks efficiently.
- You have strong problem-solving skills, can multitask effectively and have the ability to interpret complex data, initiating further investigation when deviations occur.
- You enjoy sharing knowledge and have the communication skills to train and mentor colleagues.
- You embrace the opportunity of implementing new technologies and optimize existing workflows to support the growth of OHMX.bio
- You are a collaborative team player with an open communication style and are proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
