Meet the registration team
Our teamwork is based on the principles of Sociocracy 3.0. This means that everyone is heard and actively contributes to decision-making.
The technologies we use? We work with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Terraform in an AWS environment. Together, we continuously improve our delivery pipeline to launch new features quickly and reliably.
Our registration team is made up of 6 highly skilled engineers who design and maintain the platforms for .be, .vlaanderen, and .brussels domain names.
Working alongside 4 other self-managing engineering teams, they form part of our technology department. Equality, transparency, and collaborative decision-making are at the heart of everything we do.
Software Engineer
Job description
- You’ll work in an agile environment and develop new functionalities for our registration platforms.
- You’ll ensure that existing functionalities and technologies stay fully up-to-date.
- You’ll assist with the rollout of new releases and changes in production.
- You’ll monitor systems, investigate problems and solve them with your team.
- You’ll continue to develop yourself and share your knowledge with the team.
Profile
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in software development.
- You’re a team-player, willing to take the initiative and suggest improvements.
- You have an eye for quality and security and are able to plan your work independently.
- You have no problems working on multiple projects at the same time.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English or are prepared to learn to do so quickly.
Important for this role
- Good knowledge of software development, preferably in Java.
- Knowledge of software architecture.
- Knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.
- SQL and relational databases.
