- As a Project Controls Engineer, you play a key role in large, complex, and strategically important projects where engineering, planning, and management come together.

- You ensure that projects are not only planned, but also strategically managed.
- By identifying risks, scenarios, and dependencies, the project team is provided with the tools to make well-founded decisions.
- In meetings, complex information is translated into clear choices, supported by solid analysis.
- You advise the project manager across various project controls domains.
- The technical interdependencies of complex projects are translated into a clear and integrated project schedule.
- You are responsible for the planning and control process, including scenario, risk, and delay analyses.
- Support is provided to the project team regarding changes and claims.
- Project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is used for all analyses.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for data and analysis.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
- A master’s degree in a technical or related field (e.g. civil engineering, industrial engineering, or similar).
- The master’s degree is recognized by NARIC or a Belgian diploma.
- Experience in a similar role within complex technical projects, or a strong willingness to develop in this area.
- Knowledge of planning and project controls software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is essential.
- Strong skills in scenario and risk analysis, with the ability to clearly communicate solutions and advice to stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset combined with strong communication and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English Dutch and/or French are a plus..
