Job description
Compliance Officer (AML/KYC)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to strengthen the compliance function within a dynamic financial environment. In this role, you will support regulatory compliance activities, contribute to AML/KYC processes, and act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
You will work closely with senior compliance professionals and play an active role in ensuring that the organization meets all regulatory requirements while continuously improving internal processes and controls.
Compliance Officer - Responsibilities
- Support and execute the Compliance Action Monitoring Plan, including regulatory reporting, policy updates and ongoing alignment with AML/KYC requirements.
- Contribute to the development, review and optimization of transaction monitoring frameworks, including parameter analysis, system testing and continuous improvement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on AML-related topics such as customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, risk classification and red flag interpretation.
- Perform ongoing monitoring activities, including alert handling, escalation processes and data quality checks across compliance systems.
- Participate in compliance reviews, risk assessments and control testing, contributing to the evaluation and strengthening of internal frameworks.
Profile
Compliance Officer - Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Law, Economics or a related field.
- Prior experience in compliance, AML/KYC or a regulatory environment is a strong asset.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations, AML frameworks and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex compliance topics clearly to non-specialists.
- Proactive, organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
