Job description
As a Billing Officer your responsibilities are:
- Manage the entire billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any client queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth billing operations.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to billing.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with administrative tasks as needed.
Profile
A successful Billing Officer should have:
- A background in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
- Experience in billing or financial administration within the business services industry.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office tools.
- An eye for detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
