Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a thing of the future, it’s already transforming the financial sector today. This training combines a clear, practical introduction to AI with an interactive gamified exercise that allows participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge immediately. The result is hands-on, practice-oriented learning.

The objectives of this training are to:

• gain insight into the basic principles, applications, and challenges of artificial intelligence in the financial sector;
• reflect critically on the ethical, legal, and organizational implications of AI;
• apply AI knowledge through practical, interactive scenarios.

CONTENT

Morning session : Capture the AI Flag – Gamified AI Training

A unique and interactive AI game developed by PwC, designed to help participants apply AI skills in practice. Participants put their knowledge into action through realistic scenarios, learning to evaluate AI solutions and make impactful decisions.

• A game where participants face challenges that simulate real-world AI applications
• Topics include ethics, data processing, customer experience, risk management, and more
• Learning objective: reflect on real AI dilemmas and stimulate collaboration between business and technology
• Setup: participants compete in a series of AI missions with real-time feedback and coaching

Afternoon session : Introduction to AI, AI assistants & prompt engineering

• What is AI and how does it work?
• Understand the fundamentals that enable AI, such as machine learning and neural networks. Explore how AI models process, learn, and predict information.
• What is an AI assistant, and how does it work?
• Learn about the functionalities and limitations of an AI assistant
• How can an AI assistant help you save time with daily business tasks?
• Overview of all possibilities with practical tips and tricks
• What is a prompt, and how do you write one?
• Learn the necessary steps for prompt construction
• Hands-on exercises to get familiar with your AI assistant
• Practical exercises with AI coaches based on use cases

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• Duration: 1 day of training (6 class hours)
• Hours: 09:00 to 17:00
• Location: Febelfin Academy: Phoenix building, Koning Albert II-laan/Boulevard du Roi Albert II 19, 1210 Brussels
• Language: This training will be given in English
• Materials: Participants bring their own laptop, ensure access to ChatGPT, Copilot or Mistral (the most common AI assistants), and have a stable Wi-Fi connection with access to the on-site network.

You follow a ‘Classroom training’ in a group. You, the other participants and the teacher are all present in the same classroom at an agreed time. There is an opportunity for interaction and feedback, both from the participants to the teacher and vice versa. The teaching material consists as a basis of a presentation via the MyFA learning platform, supplemented with various other items (such as digital syllabus, presentation, audiovisual fragments, etc.).
