Sales Representative

As a Hyva Salesperson in Belgium, you are responsible for the commercial development, sales, and customer support of Hyva-Jost products and related solutions. Your portfolio includes Hyva hydraulic components & hookloaders, but also Jost truck & trailer parts. You act as a trusted technical and commercial partner for OEMs, bodybuilders, dealers, and fleet customers across Belgium.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and manage sales activities for Hyva & Jost products within the Belgian market.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with OEMs, bodybuilders, distributors, and end users.
- Promote and sell HYVA hydraulic components, hook loaders & JOST truck and trailer parts.
- Provide technical and commercial advice, supporting customers in selecting the most suitable solutions for their applications.
- Identify new market opportunities and actively acquire new customers.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and follow up on offers to successfully close deals.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments such as engineering, aftersales, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and report insights to management.
- Represent Hyva & Jost at trade fairs, customer events, and industry meetings.
- Maintain accurate customer data, sales forecasts, and reports in the (CRM) system.
Profil
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in technical B2B sales, preferably within hydraulics, commercial vehicles, trailers, or transport equipment.
- Strong technical understanding of hydraulic systems and vehicle-mounted equipment.
- Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while being part of an international organization.
- Fluency in Dutch and French;
- Good working knowledge of English is required.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Belgium.
- Valid driving license (B).
