MES Application Engineer
Description de la fonction
As an Industrial ICT developer, your challenge is to create IT solutions for our
clients. This includes configuring off-the-shelf products alongside customized software,
contributing to both configuration and programming. Through close collaboration with
clients, you understand their business processes to achieve optimal results. Most projects
are location-based.
• Configuring standard products to meet client requirements.
• Designing and implementing specific software solutions to meet the needs of the
customer and make sure it all fit’s together from A to Z.
• Hands-on development and involvement throughout the software life cycle.
• Developing, testing, and documenting applications and training for users.
• Collaborating on maintenance and expansion of existing applications.
• Translating business analysis into technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting problems with software and aiding in the creation of patches and
updates to address them.
• Other duties include programming, code review, testing, and participating in scrum
team tasks.
Profil
Our ideal candidate embodies the following qualities, but don't worry if you don't meet every
requirement; we prioritize your growth to establish a long-term collaboration.
• You have experience in Microsoft .NET and SQL Server.
• You hold a bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or electromechanics
(automation).
• You enjoy the combination of onsite work and office work.
• You value clean code and adapt quickly to existing applications.
• Experience with UI and UX is beneficial.
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, MAUI, DevOps, IS-95, and Scrum is an advantage.
• You possess an inquisitive attitude, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities,
with a strong customer focus.
• Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of French and Dutch is advantageous.
• Holding a driver's license (B) and being open to short-term; 2-3 days trips abroad
(Europe) are required.
