Functieomschrijving
The Back Office staff handle assistance and/or insurance files for both B2C and B2B clients.
After analyzing the files and in accordance with the general conditions of application, they reimburse or bill B2C and B2B clients.
- Working with a team of experienced colleagues and with the support of your supervisors, the new colleague will be mainly responsible for the following tasks:
- After a thorough training, manage and control the files both medical & technical assistance that are created in the assistance CenterB elgium & abroad;
- Handle incoming files via email and phone, which are automatically sent to the department's diaries.
- Check that the services requested comply with the general terms and conditions of the contracts;
- Analyze and validate files when anomalies are identified;
- As appropriate, issue invoices to B2C customers, B2B customers, foreign correspondents and partner clubs, make required refunds or send denials to customers and ensure follow-up (contacts with individual & B2B customers).
- Liaise and respond to customer needs/questions via email, letter and telephone.
- Communicate problems and/or discrepancies to relevant coordinators and departments.

Profiel
- Has initial work experience in a similar role (case manager, travel, claims, customer service, after-sales service, disputed cases, etc.);
- Is comfortable in using the following channels: email and phone to converse and exchange with the different customers and gather all information relevant to their ongoing cases.
- Can juggle different systems: access, analyze and reconcile found data;
- Good analytical skills, allowing you to form opinions based on objective facts and take corrective action where necessary;
- Excellent oral and written skills in French and Dutch (English is an asset);
- Demonstrates accuracy, precision and synthetic ability, capable of handling a large volume of files while maintaining an optimal level of quality;
- Is solution-oriented and open to change;
- Has a good command of IT tools. Experience with SAP billing is a plus.
