Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Lead all external regulatory filings with Belgian and US financial market regulators, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.

- Execute, document, and update internal controls associated with the reporting process to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information.
- Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, facilitating financial audit and CSRD audit processes and addressing any audit-related inquiries.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Investor Relations, Legal, Business Development and other stakeholders, to support reporting activities and address any reporting-related issues.
- Play a critical role in the further build-out of external reporting capabilities and the automation of reporting processes, contributing to efficiency and effectiveness.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to organizational growth and increasing complexity.
- Biotech experience is a plus but not a requirement
- Fluency in English and the ability to operate cross-functionally are essential.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of IFRS.
- Proven ability to manage external regulatory filings and interact with financial market regulators.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Biotech experience is a plus but not a requirement
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
