Planning Manager
Job description
- Preparing staff schedules in a full-time shift system, on two different sites, in Brussels and Liège (warehouse workers, employees, ramp workers and flight coordinators).
- Ensuring the quality of schedules, taking into account, among other things, the risks of fatigue and operational skills.
- Analysing workload profiles and ensuring that contractual agreements with the various airlines are respected.
- If necessary, use external partners and employment agencies to ensure optimum staffing levels.
- Support strategic and tactical decisions with meaningful and accurate data analysis.
- Ensuring the correct application of company guidelines and applicable laws and regulations in the planning process.
- Leading operational planning meetings.
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of productivity, capacity and profitability.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain, accounting or any other field requiring an affinity with planning and figures
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an equivalent role
- Perfect command of French and English, spoken command of Dutch
- Complete mastery of Excel (formulas hold no secrets for you!)
- Interest in the aviation sector
- Organisation, planning and rigour (as you can imagine, this is a must!)
- Autonomy and assertiveness
- Good communication skills: you adapt to the person you are dealing with and are an active listener, enabling you to establish a relationship of trust with your colleagues
- Empathy: you take workers' needs into account when planning - in short, you never leave the human dimension out!
