As a Reliability Engineer within the production of the industrial manufacturing division, you work closely with maintenance teams and production operators to ensure reliability of the powder bed additive manufacturing processes.
- You focus on reliability of the process, with focus on both technological as operational flow/logistical aspects. Consistency and repeatability, and accurate and disciplined logging of production relevant data for analysis is a key aspect.
- You focus on continuous improvement, using data-driven structured approaches. You ensure reporting and follow-up of various quality and reliability metrics. KPIs like delivery on time, scrap, cost and complaint data will serve as your input. You cooperate with our quality engineers to define the right and consistent metrics.
- You ensure consistent use of root-cause analysis tools to analyze incidents and install corrective and identify preventive actions to improve towards future.
- You advise on continuous improvements in the production process and take an active role in implementing these improvements and securing those improvements in the processes in a qualitative way. You will either make incremental adjustments to the existing processes, or define projects towards process engineering and/or development teams for structural and longer term improvement projects. You keep a track record of implemented improvements.
