Our client is an international company that develops and implements the country safety management policies and procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy work environment. You will have a support function for the implementation, continuation and further development of the integrated management system concerning Safety, Health, Environment and operational safety levels (ISAGO) in accordance with national, European & international legislation with the aim to improve operational safety levels within the company.
You'll help implement applicable national law of wellbeing at work and follow up the safety committee obligations. You'll review and guide the operational risk analysis, as you will be the owner of the procedures risk analysis. You will handle the follow up of all unwanted evets (intake, first analysis, in depth analysis) of major incidents and accidents. You will review and rewrite procedures and instructions for the IMS, based on the international corporate rules and guidelines. You will be acting on behalf of the head of prevention regarding follow up on the Law of Wellbeing implementation. You will be the representative of the QHSSE department in multiple stakeholder meetings. You will support the department on the transition to Sharepoint, support the administrative processes in the QHSSE department and you will support the department with internal and external audits.
You are the first contact of the organization regarding all QHSSE related questions. You will act as a trainer, advisor and communicator to all departments on operational safety matters and actively support departments in taking a pro-active approach to maintaining and identifying quality and operational improvements that impact their activities. You will release monthly internal prevention reports and monthly safety statistics. You will also report management reports regarding the follow up of safety action lists, conduct investigations of quality and operational safety issues/incidents and initiate corrective actions. You will also draw the attention of staff to all safety, quality and environmental requirements and all relevant legal stipulations and take measurements if their compliance isn't respected or can't be ensured. You will lead by example.
