PANASONIC ENERGY EUROPE is an important division of the Japanese electronic manufacturing company Panasonic Corporation and is responsible for the marketing, sales and distribution of consumer batteries for all of Europe.


In view of a growing business, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented (m/f) for the sales department in the European Headquarters located in Asse-Zellik.





  • You are, within the DACH-team, responsible for the total management of the most relevant Electro Retailer in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including setting up a business plan and annual agreements.
  • You steer and manage an internal and external Fieldforce-team and an external service agency.
  • You translate the European strategy into a local strategy based on a profitable and sustainable growth of your business unit.
  • You are responsible for the development of the price - & distribution structure.
  • You contribute to the brand awareness of Panasonic Energy through sales-marketing activities and build partnerships with your customers in retail through modern account management tools and category management.
  • You actively prospect for new accounts in order to expand your portfolio.
  • You work closely together with internal departments such as marketing, supply chain, etc. in order to fine-tune your own business plan and to achieve, together with the team, your turnover and profit targets.
  • You detect and assess important trends in the market and you represent the company on fairs and events.
  • You report to the Country Manager DACH.


  • After having obtained a Master's Degree or comparable due to experience, you have a proven track record as a sales or key account manager, ideally within FMCG or consumer electronics. Experience in retail is a strong asset.
  • You have a proven experience in steering, coaching and inspiring a team of direct reports.
  • You combine your analytical, logical and conceptual thinking with an open, entrepreneurial and persistent mindset.
  • You are a diplomatic communicator and a hands-on team player who likes to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • You have a good sense of organisation, based on an autonomous approach.
  • You speak and write fluently German and English.
  • You have a good knowledge of the MS Office tools.
  • You are willing to travel to Germany on a regular basis, as well for customer visits, as regular meetings in the German company office in Hamburg.
