As an Embedded Software Engineer your responsibilities will be: 

• You will make propositions for coherent software architectures for unmanned aerial system grounds & tests.
• You will be involved in the redaction & validation process.
• You will develop the software for safety-critical avionics compliant (with DO-178C up to DAL-A).
• You will create test benches for the validation of your software (SiL/MiL/HiL)
• Write test scenarios and process the associated results.
• You will play a key role in the engineering TEAM (Test Engineers, Aviation Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers).
• You write the technological roadmap & you will be involved in the research activities.

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in safety-critical embedded software development and/or testing.
• Experience with C/C++, Python and assembly languages.
• Experience with git, Eclipse, bug tracking and continuous integration tools.
• Experience with the main airborne software standards and norms (mainly DO-178C).
• You speak fluently in English. Dutch or French is a plus.
• Experience with VHDL is a plus.
• You are passionate about drones & aviation technology.
• You love to work the region of Brussels.
