As a Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Technician at UPS, you’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining and optimizing our conveyor systems and facility infrastructure. Your day-to-day includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
You’ll manage spare parts inventory, collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors, and deliver top-notch service to our internal customers.
For our new constructed, automated sorting facility in Diegem our department needs highly motivated, technically educated technicians who are willing to work in shifts (day, night, morning).
As a Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Technician at UPS, you’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining and optimizing our conveyor systems and facility infrastructure. Your day-to-day includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.

Profiel
- A degree in electromechanics or a related technical field (a Bachelor is not necessarily required).
- Computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office software package.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle technical challenges, even under pressure.
- Experience with PLC’s and automated conveyer systems.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work as part of and lead a team.
- Good communication skills, preferably both in Dutch and English.
- A hands-on, professional attitude with a drive for success
