For one of our customers, an international company located in Ghent, we are looking for a young potential with a strong interest in operations for our traineeship.
During 15 intense and exciting months, starting September 2019, the program will give you a holistic view of the firm's global manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities worldwide. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several ?on-the-job? rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at our firm.

Our motivated and highly competent production engineering team optimizes our production processes on different parameters such as safety, ergonomy and efficiency. Working closely together with the operators, other production engineers and line management they work out the most effective solutions for all the challenges in the assembly process a big plant like ours faces: rebalancing, product changes, new technologies and so on.

To join the operations graduate program as a production engineer, you should have a Master in Engineering (civil engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering) and have maximum of two years previous work-experience after graduation.
To be a successful production engineer you need to be a good communicator (Dutch & English) and possess strong analytical skills.
If you are a process-oriented engineer that enjoys working in a team and has a hands-on mentality, then you are the person that we are looking for.
