For the plant near Ghent we are urgently looking for a driven and decisive HR Manager, who will be accountable for the implementation, localization and management of the HR strategy so the local organization gets the right and the best candidates and you will also manage to develop and retain the employees to support the growth of the company. (this includes ethics codes, performance and talent management, reward philosophy...) Finally in this job you will be responsible for the local employee and industrial relations management.
With the different line managers you will review the organizational needs and you will work closely with them to develop and plan for the future organization (Talent Review, Succession planning, Employee development ...).You will manage day-to-day recruitment, learning & development, resource planning/tracking, performance, payroll and benefits processes ensuring quality and timely service delivery to internal customers. You will improve and optimize HR processes and HRIS systems. You will coach the line managers and supervisory personnel to improve overall business performance, people development and employee retention. You will actively manage employee and industrial relations (collective labour agreements, works council, unions, industry/employer organization …). You will implement, translate and localize the HR and BU strategy and policies in close cooperation with relevant COE or HRD and make sure that the local regulations are respected. In this position you will report to EMEA HR Director and you will coach a team of 4 HR professionals. You will also work closely with the different international functional teams.
