Our client is world leader in the development and sales of products with high efficiency in heating, cooling and production of hot water. In order to further strengthen their Belgian operations they are currently looking to recruit - based in the outskirts of Brussels - a new m/f




The objective of the position is to develop and implement the group's strategy, vision and values to support the Belgium business. Ultimately this needs to lead to an environment and culture of continuous improvement.

More specifically you will

  • Prepare, implement, control and develop the HR strategy together with Management and Works Council. In addition you will supervise the HR budget and prepare all HR reporting for the Country Manager and HR at HQ level.
  • Be responsible for a competitive compensation and benefits strategy, having a special focus on payroll administration (i.e. payment, advice on equal pay, bonus schemes, negotiations, social security, pension…); you will also be in charge of social legislation, discipline and grievance and advice to managers with specific focus on the introduction and follow up of HR policies and procedures.
  • Overview and manage all activities related to "soft" HR related matters (recruitment, l&d, …).
  • Be the safeguard of the company culture and the values for which the organization stands.
  • Actively manage all communication to HR's stakeholders (own employees, works council, official bodies, …).
  • Together with the managing director - maintain and further develop excellent relationships with the social partners.
  • Follow up on a number of HR administration tasks (e.g. lease cars, facilities, health & safety, claims, …)
  • Manage a small team of HR professionals.
  • Be part of the Belgian management team and report to the managing director.


  • You have a higher education preferably in HR whereby you show a proven experience in a HR generalist role of at least 5 years and this ideally in an industrial services environment.
  • You have experience and knowledge of all the different HR domains including social relations.
  • You have managed (smaller) teams and are known for your excellent and effective communication skills.
  • You are able to switch easily between strategy and day to day business issues.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English on a professional level.
