Our client is looking for a HR Business Partner

HR Business Partner


As a business partner, you understand the business strategy and priorities and work closely together with all departments. You are a strong team player within the HR team and report directly to the HR Director. You are part of the local management team.

Role and Responsibilities
-Work in partnership with all business functions (stores, warehouse, support functions) ensuring the appropriate HR processes and tools are implemented and actively contribute to the growth of the business (through people)
-Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, increase productivity and retention
-Manage recruitment and selection : sourcing, selection, assessment, employer branding and coordination of the integration and on boarding of newcomers together with the HR Officer
-Manage complex employee relationships/unions
-As part of the European HR team, you contribute to the development of cross-countries better people management practices in close collaboration with your peers, the center of excellence and under the supervision of the HR Director. You represent the voice and the needs of your internal clients (country/region) and you make sure local context, priorities and needs are taken into account when developing, improving cross-countries HR initiatives, projects, processes. The people management practices covers a multiple of HR areas

You are accountable to implement those initiatives locally and support the change process related to it.

-Ensure consistency and compliance with HR policies and procedures


Education and Technical/Professional qualifications
-Master degree in HR, Economics, Psychology or Law with minimum 5 years work experience as HR BP in a retail company
-You have a broad experience in multiple HR areas
-You have a relevant experience in the retail industry

Core competencies; knowledge and experience
-You are proficient in country language(s) and English
-You have excellent people management skills
-You are hands-on, well organised and process minded
-You demonstrate experience in HR metrics
-You work autonomously and demonstrate a positive, discreet and enthusiastic attitude
-You have a good fit with the retail industry
-You have an excellent knowledge of your country (countries) labour law and social regulations
-You understand HR and Finance and their interdependency
-You are a team player who can work independently, take initiative, has a sense of ownership and an efficient, hands-on approach
-You demonstrate strong abilities to analyse and report on areas of responsibilities
-You have the ability to follow and explain Company Rules & Procedures
-You have excellent communication skills
-You have good Microsoft office skills in powerpoint/ word and excel
