This team advices (top)management on the best courses of action which will lead to a better customer experience, to better commercial dynamics and to better profits for Carrefour.
The DATA VISUALIZATION EXPERT is a key player in the set-up of new strategic projects and has an end-to-end responsibility in the design of the business requirements and the set-up of visualization proof-of-concepts.
The responsibilities of the DATA VISUALIZATION EXPERT at Carrefour include:
- Translate the data into insights supporting strategic decisions using visualization techniques (dashboarding tools) and make recommendations. Present your conclusions and discuss them with multi-functional project teams or colleagues.
Translate business questions into data needs.
Support the business and the management with clear and insightful analyses on the data at hand.
Translate the data requirements into business requirements to allow the IT department to automate the data for optimal usage in the Big Data environment.
Descriptive analyses. Work closely together with other Data Scientists For predictive analyses.
Align with the Data Engineers for the extraction of the required data (either via SQL or through more complex methods (Python, PySpark, Scala..).
Establish good contacts with the other Customer Insights departments, with the IT team for industrialization and with international data peers for strategic data-oriented projects.
