For our customer, an international production company, located in Ghent, we are looking for a Customer Service Laboratory Supervisor. The customer service laboratory is providing technical service to our customers. The CSL supervisor is responsible for the coordination, organization and execution of the laboratory activities for the EMEA region. In this role, you are the primary contact for our technical and commercial organization. You will play an important role in the technical support to customers and new project development.
Your key responsibilities:
You provide technical support to the marketing technical service and industry specialist organization in customer problem solving, application support and analytical techniques. As such, this person can determine causes of performance concerns
and resolve quality issues.
You coordinate CSL activities to maximize service and responsiveness to our customers.
You actively participate in commercialization of new product introduction and coordinate testing programs and resolution of technical issues
You implement new test methods for performance characterization of our products
You provide training to the personnel and give presentations in case of customer visits.
You support the team by providing guidance and interpretation for all analytical related testing.
You have a master's degree in Industrial Engineering option Chemistry or Material Sciences. A first working experience is mandatory.
You have a strong interested in supporting projects with customers as well as internal projects and organizing tests to support product development.
You are able to manage a small team.
You have an excellent knowledge of English and Dutch.
You have good social and communication skills and strong analytical skills
