? - You have a strategic role to partner with the sales, marketing, trade marketing functions and will influence commercial decisions
? - Your input is key for our focus on sustainable profitable growth, as a financial partner you challenge the teams on opportunities for profitable sustainable growth.
? - Together with the sales, marketing, trade marketing functions you identify and report key performance indicators of the business.
? - You provide relevant management information to the commercial directors and the commercial teams with regard to business insights: drivers of growth, variance analysis, profitability per customer, pricing, margin analysis, analysis of opportunities and risks etc. You give strategic recommendations based on solid financial analysis.
? - When you identify threats and possible business risks, you alert the business domain owners. You act as a sparring partner and provide the best possible support to the business.
? - You challenge and support the business with financial advice and transparency on financial performance, in our ambition to deliver profitable growth and margin expansion initiatives in line with the strategy of the company.
? - You perform detailed financial / ad hoc analyses and provide high-level insights in order to challenge key parameters
? - You evaluate the profitability of new opportunities and new product developments (NPD).
? - You have an active role in product reviews by generating and reviewing the product portfolio performance and detail variances and root-causes
? - You analyze supply plan scenarios and determine financial and customer implications, integrate these insights in the s&op process
? - You lead deliverables from commercial controlling, such as weekly and monthly sales dashboard, participate in the month-end closing process, support the yearly plan, budget, forecasts and strategy exercise
? - You analyze different product categories in terms of sales and margins and their impact on price settings.
? - You provide monthly and weekly reporting on the turnover, margins, rebates per channel, customer or product category.
? - You drive continuous improvement of financial/commercial processes and systems through further automation (Power BI implementation) and process standardization.
? - You manage overview and insight of commercial performance and outlook of the business, on country, channel, customer and product level.
