Purpose of the positionThe
Marketeer DEWALT Benelux is responsible for the full product category of power tools accessories within the consumer and professional channels. You are in charge of new product introductions, SKU management and pricing. You develop your product category through market, customers, competitors, retail price settings and white spaces analysis. You have strategic and operational responsibility in terms of product portfolio management, for the different product groups under your responsibility. You continuously aim at positive development of the annual turnover and the overall profitability of the business. A hands on mentality is a must.
Main Responsibilities - Strategical and operational management of the following product groups within the power tools accessories: Fasteners and Anchors
- The brands STANLEY, Piranha, Molly, BOSTITCH, DEWALT, IRWIN and LENOX are in the scope of your product groups
- You have one direct report in the field, throughout the Benelux
- You continually maintain and optimise the product group portfolios
- You develop regional new product launch plans and strategies
- You develop regional promo plans
- You perform price analysis and adapt accordingly
- You work closely with SBD European product managers to guarantee alignment
- You participate in international strategic product SBU meetings
- You develop the annual product marketing plan and present it to internal stakeholders and retail customers
- You manage and control budgets, sales growth and SGM%
- As one of the main stakeholders, you are involved in the full marketing mix; brand communication and awareness, category wall management, PR, events, product training, website, online activities, campaigns drive and support social media plans, sales folders, campaigns, sponsorships
- You participate in budget planning, strategic plans, investment plans and promotion budget-compliance
- You have a great capability to present your product commercialisation plans to all stakeholders in the most effective and impactful way
- You ensure your product portfolio is lean, effective and improves SBD working capital
- You reduce Excess & Obsolete stock continually
- You manage and maintain all product data in clear price lists and in the central product database (SQL)
Profil
- Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Business or Marketing
- You have at least two years of experience in a similar product marketing role
- In this role a high level of ownership is crucial: you deliver projects from A to Z
- Considering the high level of analytical responsibilities, a profound knowledge of Excel is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills that enable you to proactively communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Due to the high level of complexity in our matrix and international organization, we expect you to be well organized, structured and highly efficient
- You have a strong commercial feeling
- Your understanding of the dynamics of the DIY & professional market is certainly a plus
- You are a pragmatic problem solver by making decisions with common sense
- You have the ability to deal with pressure
- You have a high sense of drive and determination
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is nice to have
