It's part of an international group - a major actor in travel sector.

In Belgium 50 employees (out of 1.000 globally) are working for my client that has still a start-up & international mindset.

My client has been evolving a lot for years and uses to increase its turnover every year.

As Senior Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing key accounts in Belgium & Luxembourg (companies that expense more 500k/year in business travels)
  • Identifying new business, qualifying leads & arranging meetings
  • Having a consultative approach with your customers
  • Working closely with international teams in order to create synergies & cross-selling
  • Working closely with account management team in order to implement sales
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing/Product/Partnership teams in order to optimize your commercial approach
  • Having a role in the development of commercial strategies for both Belgian & Luxembourg markets
  • Hosting & attending events
  • Making reports to your management on a regular basis & developing database through CRM

The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Fluent in French, Dutch, English
  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Real hunter mindset
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing long cycle & complex sales/negotiations
  • proven track record in managing consultative selling
  • Ability & willingness to work within an international environment and to travel on a regular basis
  • Ability to be on the field most of the time
  • Entrepreneur & autonomous
  • Team worker, results & solutions oriented
  • Ability to take initiatives & to work with internal stakeholders (local & international)
  • Ability to negotiate with high level of people (C-level)
  • Excellent communication & presentation
