What's the role?
We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our growing regional sales team. You will put your analytical, relationship building and selling skills to use to create long-lasting partnerships with customers in the energy/industry/public sector across Flanders.

What does the role involve?
As a Business Development Specialist you’ll be out visiting ourcustomers, wherever they’re busy working, to find out how we can help them. Youcould find yourself on a port, a military site or dealing with the localauthorities and Government clients - so no day will be the same!
This is not an ordinary sales job but a model of professionalconsultative selling, and it’s a really hands-on job! It means rolling up yoursleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry,while selling our state-of-the-art software along with all the services andafter-care that come with the Hilti name. Far from traditional cold calling,it’s about nurturing relationships with warm and responsive customers, andhelping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.

Profil

What you need is:
  • Solid experience in solution selling in an SME/B2B environment, ideally selling into the Public Sector (not essential)
  • Strong emotional intelligence and business acumen
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Results oriented and pro-active
  • Resilliece and persistance
