As a data engineer, you will take the responsibility of understanding and anticipating the data needs behind our strategic AI use cases and developing state-of-the-art data engineering and machine learning solutions.
You are responsible for the data design, data architecture and deployment of date pipelines for strategic AI use cases within Carrefour
You collect and structure the needs of data scientists and get the information from diverse data owners to set up data workflows, in close collaboration with the business stakeholders and the IT team
You set up best practices for code development in distributed systems (Spark), for scalability, testing, and versioning management
You assist in automating developed prototypes and proof of concepts for strategic business cases in close collaboration with our IT Departement responsible for the big data infrastructure
You translate the data requirements into functional requirements
You are a data ambassador within the CMI team and you build good relationships with all your stakeholders (data science team, IT team, …)
