Total Reward Manager

Job description

The main goal of your function is to implement the organization’s reward strategy so that compensation, benefits, performance and mobility outcomes meet current and future business needs and are consistent with the organization’s desired internal and external market position. You report into the HRD Belgium, but working closely with the Global HR Director as your role will contribute to co-creating global/regional strategy, guidelines and policies. 
 
You evaluate current programs effectiveness at a global/regional/ local level and provide input for further improvements. Liaise with the HRBP’s and our managers to implement compensation strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization’s overall reward strategy.  These programs may include:
  • job evaluation and classification;
  • short-term, long-term and sales incentive plans management;
  • employee benefits (such as health, insurance, motor vehicles);
  • performance management;
  • global mobility;
  • hire and exit packaging; retirement and pension plans.
 
You ensure good understanding of our programs through good communication.
 
You analyze and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about the organization’s current employee population and future human resource needs in order to develop salary budgets and forecasts that are consistent with the organization’s reward strategy. 
 
You select and manage ongoing relationships with regional external consultants and suppliers (e.g. insurance carriers, actuaries, benefit providers) to ensure that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
 

Profile

  • Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration, HR Management or similar Preferred certification in Compensation and Benefits
  • 5+ years of experience in HR with a Compensation and Benefits focus in an international company
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent communicator in Dutch and English
  • Experience in HRIS (SuccessFactors preferably) will be seen as a plus.
  • Eager to learn, critical reflex to question and pro-actively challenging the status quo, looking for continuous improvement
