Technical Project Manager
Customers worldwide will look at you for managing their FiberPlanIt projects from kick-off to customer handover, and each project has its own unique aspects and requirements. You work together with the operations manager and the application engineers to define realistic plans, identify and mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery of the project in line with the customer expectations and within budget.
You have a strong technical background and as a project team member you support the application engineers in technical aspects to get the job done. You will also be involved in customer training and in pre-sales activities. Even subcontractor management can be part of the responsibilities depending on the project. By taking lessons learnt onwards to the next projects, we continuously improve the project management process.
Master in engineering and/or computer science or similar with a good track record.
At least 3 years experience in project management in the telecom or software development industry.
You have a strong interest in telecom networks (specifically FTTx networks), other utility networks (electricity, smart grids, heat networks), network planning and you are excited to continuously follow the state-of-the-art in these domains.
Experience with FTTx, GIS is a plus.
A+ in communication and negotiation, with excellent meeting and presentation skills.
You have a high attention for detail and are not afraid of the mandatory project administration to keep the project dashboards and information up to date.
