Our client in Brussels is looking for an Infrastructure Architect.

Job description

As Technical Architect you will:

Manage the the full technical architecture of the application landscape, with strong focus on infrastructure architecture
Assist in the elaboration of architecture blueprints and solution architectures, in collaboration with technical architects, enterprise architects, infrastructure architects and delivery teams
Support projects in their realization (RFP, POC, design, liaise with infrastructure partner,…) in line with the overall architecture
Follow the technical evolutions, share knowledge, identify opportunities to improve the overall architecture
Judge infrastructure changes

Profile

Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong plus
Conceptual & analytical thinking, solution design, DevOps
Documenting & communicating to different stakeholders
Able to work independently and in the team of architects
Able to collaborate with development teams and infrastructure teams
Able to work on multiple items in parallel
Open minded
Eager to learn
Proven transversal architecture skills
Proven experience with designing infrastructure solutions conform with non-functional requirements (availability, performance, scalability, security, disaster recovery, real-time, low latency,…)
Proven experience in challenging infrastructure blueprints for different aspects (technical, technological, NFR, TCO,...)
Servers (linux, AIX, Windows, mainframe), appliances, virtualization
Networking, DMZ
