Job description

  • You contribute to research in the field of Proteomics.
  • You collaborate with senior CFP staff and assist them with daily operation of the core facility.
  • You are co-responsible for the sample preparation and operation of the instruments of the core facility.


  • You have a professional Bachelor or short higher-education degree or equivalent competences gained through prior work experience [DP&O1] in Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical and Biological Laboratory Technology.
  • Experience in a molecular biology or analytical lab is a plus.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and you are willing to learn several computer programs..
  • You have good oral and written knowledge of English.
  • You are communicative, meticulous, customer-focused, creative, quality-oriented, cooperative and a person of integrity.
  • You have strong skills in planning and organisation.


  • a fixed-term employment contract; 2 years (with the possibility of extension);
  • a gross monthly salary in pay band 4-6, usually beginning in entry-level grade 4. Depending on relevant seniority, the entry-level grade will range from 2.260,37 euro to 3.473,81 euro. More information about our salary scales and other benefits can be found here ( our website.

  • 40 days of annual leave + 1 week when the university is closed (between Christmas and New Year).
