Our client is a dynamic, technologically advanced and export-oriented organization, focused on the development, design and manufacturing of complex process equipment for the production of pharmaceutical oral solid dosage forms.

Currently, they are looking for a Software Engineer . In this position, you'll be part of the Special Execution Group Continuous and report to the software and validation Manager.

Job description

You manage software engineering of specific parts of projects as well as complete projects
You develop customer specific software using standard engineered modules
You participate in project team meetings and reports status software engineering
You manage the hours foreseen for your different tasks, and reports hour status
You always look for improvements and discuss improvements with automation standardization lead
You have review meetings with the customers explaining software architecture.
For projects you are appointed for, you will execute software activities worldwide at customer
You have review meetings with other departments to standardize automation approach

Profile

You hold a Master in Software/Controls engineering, or equivalent by experience.
You have a solid experience as controls engineer in process industry (food, pharma, (petro)chemical, waste treatment,…)
Knowledge and experience programming most of the following systems: Siemens PLC, Rockwell PLC, Scada Siemens Win CC systems, Visual Basic,..
Good communicator and optimizing collaboration between different departments
Continuously looking for improvements to match requirements from pharmaceutical companies with scheduled hours per project for controls activities
You are fluent (R/W/S) in English and preferably in Dutch
You have good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
You are prepared to travel (in total less than 12 weeks a year, with periods of maximum 2 weeks)
